Before you start
Signing in. Open the link your practice gave you and sign in with your own email address and password. Every person has their own login — never share one. If you have forgotten your password, use Reset Password on the sign-in page, or ask your manager.
What you can see depends on your job. The portal has four roles:
- Front Desk — book appointments, mark patients present, look after patient details, and invoice when there are no spectacles to dispense.
- Optometrist — start and complete examinations.
- Dispenser — fees, dispensing, invoicing, and sending jobs to the workshop.
- Orders — job tracking, supplier orders, receiving stock and supplier bills.
You can hold more than one role. If a screen in this guide is not on your home page, that role has not been given to you — ask your manager.
One rule worth learning first. On the examination screen, everything you type is only stored when you press Save. Adding a prescription row, a fee or a dispensing line does not leave the page and does not save on its own. The two buttons that do leave the page, Fitting and Preview Quote, save your work for you first.
