This week's update brings a few focused improvements to patient search, exams, screening and invoicing. Below is a plain-language summary — no action is required on your side.
Patients & Clinical
- Optometrist stays set when starting an exam — the optometrist chosen on the appointment is now carried through to Start Exam instead of being cleared, so it no longer has to be re-selected each time.
- Faster patient search — looking up a patient by name, surname, ID number, phone or reference is now near-instant, even on very large patient lists. The slow-down that could make the patient picker appear to "keep loading" has been resolved.
- Eye screening booking — the User, Procedures and ICD dropdowns on the screening booking window now populate correctly again.
Reports & Accounting
- VAT number on invoices — the customer's VAT number now prints on the sales invoice wherever a VAT number is on file.
- Customer statement letterhead — the bank details and letterhead now render correctly on the Customer Statement PDF. Previously the header could come out blank on the printed statement.
